This policy explains what personal data thebizaudit.com ("we", "us") collects, why, and what rights you have. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to send you the material you requested.

What we collect
- Information you give us: your first name and email address, submitted through the sign-up form.
- Information collected automatically: aggregated, non-identifying usage data (page views, referring site, country, browser type) via Cloudflare Web Analytics, and advertising-measurement data via the Meta pixel and the Google Ads tag (see "Cookies and tracking" below).
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To send you the audit and a short follow-up email series about consolidating business software — legal basis: your consent, given when you submit the form (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
- To measure website traffic and the performance of our ads — legal basis: your consent for the Meta pixel and Google Ads tag; our legitimate interest in understanding aggregate traffic for the cookieless Cloudflare analytics (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers that process it on our behalf:
- Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH) — stores your name and email and delivers our emails.
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosts this website and provides privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics.
- Meta Platforms, Inc. — provides the advertising pixel used to measure and optimise our ad campaigns.
- Google LLC — provides the Google Ads conversion tag used to measure which search ads lead to sign-ups.
Some of these providers are based in the United States. Where data is transferred outside the EEA, it is protected by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Cookies and tracking
Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies and does not track you across sites.
The Meta pixel and the Google Ads tag set cookies and send your browser activity on this site to Meta and Google so we can measure ad results. They do not load at all unless you accept them in the banner shown on your first visit. You can change that choice at any time: review your cookie choice.
How long we keep it
We keep your name and email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, after which they are removed from our active lists within 30 days. Aggregated analytics data contains no information that identifies you.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict our use of your personal data, to object to processing, to receive your data in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email privacy@thebizaudit.com.
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link at the bottom of every email.
If you believe we have handled your data improperly, you may lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) or your local supervisory authority.
